Upgrading Device Image

ACOS image is uploaded to Harmony Controller, so that the uploaded image can be used for upgrading any device to a particular image version.

To upgrade the device image:

  1. Click Utilities > Image Upgrade.

  2. Click Images in the top-panel and click Upload.

  3. Provide a version and click to upload a ACOS image.

  4. Enter the description.

  5. Click Upload.

  6. To search a device image, key-in the name in the search bar on the top-right corner.

  7. To delete the image, select image_reference and click Delete.

Scheduled Upgrades

To view or delete upgrades that are scheduled:

  1. Click Utilities > Image Upgrade.

  2. Click Scheduled Upgrades on the top-panel, to view the scheduled upgrade.

  3. To delete the scheduled upgrade, select image_reference and click Delete.

  4. To search a scheduled upgrade, key-in the name in the search bar on the top-right corner.

Executed Upgrades

To view the upgrades that are executed and check the detailed workflow:

  1. Click Utilities > Image Upgrade.

  2. Click Executed Upgrades on the top-panel, to view the executed upgrade.

  3. Select the device, select image_reference and click Show Workflow.

  4. To search a executed upgrade, key-in the name in the search bar on the top-right corner.

Config Backup

You can select one or multiple devices to initiate a backup.

Creating Config Backup

  1. Click Utilities > Device Backup.

  2. Click Device Backups > Create Config Backup on the top-panel.

  3. Select the device or devices to perform the config backup and enter the schedule to backup from the drop-down.

  4. Enter the date range and time and provide the description for backup.

  5. Click Save.

  6. To restore a device backup, click Restore, select the associated device, device to restore and provide the description for restore.

  7. To restore a device instance backup, select the device, particular instance and image_reference and click Restore.

  8. To delete a backup, select the device and image_reference and click Delete.

  9. To delete an instance, select the device, particular instance and image_reference and click Delete.

  10. To search a backup, key-in the name in the search bar on the top-right corner.

Scheduled Backup

To view or delete backups that are scheduled, follow the below steps:

  1. Click Utilities > Device Backup.

  2. Click Scheduled Backups on the top-panel, to view the scheduled backup.

  3. Click Delete, to delete the scheduled backup.

  4. To search a scheduled backup, key-in the name in the search bar on the top-right corner.

Executed Backup

To view the backups that are executed and check the detailed workflow, follow the below steps:

  1. Click Utilities > Device Backup.

  2. Click Executed Backups on the top-panel, to view the executed backup.

  3. Select the device, select image_reference and click Show Workflow. This screen provides the details of workflow associated with the backup and also helps in troubleshooting in case of failure.

  4. To search an executed backup, key-in the name in the search bar on the top-right corner.
