Services

The Services section provides the list of App Services (Virtual Services) configured on the device.

App Services

To launch apps, analytics can be viewed and apps can be edited from this page. This page lists all the apps, and you can navigate to the analytics from here.

This page also displays the total number of application services.

Launching and Viewing Analytics

To launch the app (only if the apps the installed and available under Apps > Installed Apps or view analytics follow the steps below:

  1. Select Services > App Services > Launch App from the particular app (Thunder ADC, Lightning ADC, Thunder CGN, GI Firewall).

  2. To view analytics, select Services > App Services > Analytics from the particular app.

  3. To edit App service name, select Services > App Services > Select : Edit from the particular app and click Update.

  4. To search app services, type the name of the service or few alphabets in the search tab.

Edit Logical Partition

To edit the logical partition, follow the below steps:

  1. Select Services > App Services > Select : Edit Logical Partition from the particular app.

  2. Select the App type in the Explorer and either compare or deploy after making the necessary changes.

Adding a Logical Partition

To add a logical partition, edit or delete a logical partition follow the below steps:

  1. Select Services > Logical Partitions > + Add Logical Partition in the dashboard to create a logical partition.

  2. Enter the partition name, partition type and application type.

  3. To associate to a cluster partition, select the cluster and the partion and click Create.

  4. To re-associate a cluster partition, select image_reference and click Edit.

  5. To delete a logical partition, select image_reference and click Delete.

Comparing Versions of Logical Partition for Deployement

To compare the versions of logical partition, load the specific version and deploy the logical partition follow the below steps:

  1. Select Services > Logical Partitions > Select : Compare to compare two versions of logical partition.

  2. From the drop-down select the versions to be compared and click Make Candidate and logical partition is loaded with the specific version.

  3. Once the logical partition is loaded, you can deploy by selecting ** Deploy**.

Deploying the Logical Partition

Select a cluster and logical partition and to deploy the candidate version follow the below steps:

  1. Select Services > Logical Partitions > Select : Deploy to select a cluster partition.

  2. From the drop-down select the cluster and the partition and select the candidate version and click Deploy.

  3. Once the logical partition is loaded, you can deploy by selecting ** Deploy**.

Deploying the Cluster Partition

To deploy the logical partition follow the below steps:

  1. Select Services > Logical Partitions > Select : Deploy Cluster Partition to select a cluster partition.

  2. Select the logical and device partition.

  3. Once the partitions are loaded, you can deploy by selecting ** Deploy**.
